Does anyone know if her books are clean books for a 16 year old girl to read ( my cousin ) , I mean that doesn’t have adult stuff , like sex , and what are they ?

I think they would be appropriate for a 16 year old definitely. The Truth About Forever is my favorite Dessen novel. And Just Listen is her newest novel. And while her books may feature references to sex--I remember one book where the main heroine's best friend is pregnant--there isn't anything "graphic" like in adult romance novels. But I would definitely recommend them as one of the cleaner choices in YA lit.

Her books are meant for young adults and they usual deal about friendship and family life.
