I am a student, need to take a lot of printouts for studying. I own an HP LaserJet 1022 printer. Please tell me how can I refill the empty toners? A detailed step by step guide will be much valuable for me.

Here's a link to exact step by step. You'll need supplies. This company listed is a wholesale only volume distributor and doesn't retail to an end-user. There literature is exact on the how-to instruction though. Try ebay to pick up the supplies. By the way HP1022 is the same as HP1012 just with faster electronics. Supplies and cartridges are the same.

Do not attempt to refill a laser printer toner cartridge yourself. The toner is toxic and can be absorb through the skin as well as the nasal passages. You may also end up destroying the cartridge if you touch the fuser roller, finger print oils cause toner to stick to roller and cause poor print quality.

There are many business available that refill them look in your local business directory/yellow pages or search for one on www.411.com. Refill services are still cheaper then new and you might even be able to buy reconditioned ones already filled on the spot.

I have tried to refill inkjet cartridges many times and I have never gotten it to work correctly.

first you need to purchase a tuner, then open your cartridge, its simply and add the tuner to the place where it should be!
