I for one am very sad and heartbroken for the family and his organization (zoo, for example). I know I didn't know him personally, but he had made a big impact in our family. And he was the kind of person who looked like he was almost ready to burst out laughing at any minute. I am sad.

I feel sorry for his young family. Mr. Irwin seemed to take way to many chances with his life especially after becoming a husband and father. Most men would think about his family first and put aside a dangerous profession.

Saying a prayer for his family.......

It is very sad especially for his wife and kids and I really feel for them. I always thought he had strange ways of doing his shows, and I wondered when he wouldn't be quick enough. Stingrays do not usually attack people, even when bothered they would rather swim away, so he must really have ticked it of.

But still - it is sad.

Very sad, the Croc Hunter was the coolest ever! I feel so sad for his family. He had young children. I think if you watched the show then you kind of feel like you knew his family.

particular i substitute into stunned to take heed to that he died and felt so sorry for his spouse and youngsters. one ingredient that the relatives can take solace in is the certainty that he died doing some thing he enjoyed dearly and cared for. i don't skinny ok that there are lots of people interior the international that would not be responsive to who Steve Irwin substitute into and the failings that he has performed to convey animal conservation and a greater efficient information to the fore. he would be regrettably neglected and he's not this variety of character which you will replace.

Terrible......he is definitely a great and legendary animal hunter, no doubt.Too bad he was killed so young. He could have explored so many more dangerous animals before retirement.

Actually I am kind of sad about it. I mean my kids loved him. He had kids of his own and now they are without a father. And poor Terry. I feel real sorry for that family.

I read the headline this morning and felt it wasn't true that it was mis-reported...so i was waiting for the punchline that it was a publicity stunt....that was my first feeling.

Then I was pissed because he took too many chances and his children are fatherless now.

And finally I am sad because I thought the guy was so fun to watch soooo energetic. crap he's really dead.

This may sound harsh but he got what he deserved. Wild animals rarely attack unless seriously provoked and after watching his shows I'm sure he must have provoked the hell out of that stingray.
