Start with figuring out what you love doing. Make an actual list of the things you like to do, not 'jobs' but rather the actual 'stuff' you love doing ...drawing pictures, buying clothes, driving fast, helping people, ... Now make a second column of the possible jobs for people who love each item on that list. See what themes repeat.
drawing pictures graphic artist
advertising creative manager
buying clothes retail purchasing agent
account rep.
driving cars transport agent
truck driver
detailing specialist
valet
OK - your turn... Have fun!

Lottery Winner...LOL
The best job you can get is different for everyone. Having a job that you love to do is the best job you can get. Everyone needs a job to pay the bills. Unfortunately, most people don't have jobs they love. Therefore, going to work is a pain.

Can't go into specifics as everybody's different, but I think the trick is to find something that you just love to do, that you're really passionate about and then work out how to get paid to do it!
I don't even think you have to make a fortune, just enough to get by. Of course you can't help but be envious of people like professional sportsmen and women who get paid oodles of cash for doing something that they love.

that depends on you really.. I thought I had a good job when a probation officer, but with the constant change in law and focus on targets and not ppl, i left because I did not train to sit on a computer and do the governments audits... so now I work for a charity, less than half my original salary, but ethically I thinks its a better job? so...

The best job you can get, no matter what, is the job that you can enjoy, make you feel realized, competent, happy and satisfied with you and your whole live. The economic factor is secondary, satisfaction is first.

Depends on what you consider a good job. Money? Hours? Type of work?
If you want money, technical fields are good. Systems Engineers, computer security techs, etc. are money makers. Go to salary.com- they have a list of job descriptions there.

lifeguarding... you basicly sit around and do nothing. If you are at a good pool every one follows the rules so you dont have to do a thing
but anything involving search and rescue is a good job
