Whats it all about? I went on holiday to the sea side and for a change won a decent ammount of money! When i went to THE CHANGE counter they had no,£5, £10, or £20's. WHats that about then?

its to try and make you keep putting it back in because change doesn't seem like big money!

Lofty is right its so you keep betting and most places now when u hand over notes to get change/tokens put the notes into one of those safety boxes where you cant get the notes back out until the end of the night when the boss gives you the key to open it to cash up

They fire it all off to the bank as fast as they can get it. They only get paper money from people that want change for their machines, and that just goes in to the machines and they get 90%?? of it back again. No point in lugging coins off to the bank, they might run out!

It's difficult to carry a lot of change in your pockets and then you have to make it to the door. They always put the cashire at the back or in the middle of the floor.

because paper money could be fake
and there are no slots invented on arcade machines for note money
