Well if they can't/won't see it for what it is.... A sign that the relationship isn't going to work.

becasuse people are all different and it all depends on alot of those differences in people that make them not all act the same as the next person. like for example it depends on if they are a guy or a girl cuz guys have a totally different way of expression to feelings then girls do and niether one really understands or relates to the other ones methods of expression, and the relative of importance. like something that is very important to a girl that she has deep feelings about will sometimes mean nothing to a guy and they wont understand why it means so much to a girl and totally disreguard it all togehther and expect her to do the same because guys dont like that they dont or cant get it, and girls dont get that a guy sometimes really is'nt capable of getting it ever. in general with all people i think that everyone is really very self absorbed and judge peoples problems or feelings based on their own expieriences and if they have never been through it or expierenced it before then they see it as nothing to them but if people would just try to put themselfs in the other persons shoes and really imagine that this could be them and if it was how would they react or feel then they might stsrt to understand enough to be more sympathetic. and even if they do that and still dont get it then is always nice to just say that "ok, i don't really understand and i cant relate but i see that it really bothers and upsets you and so i have respect for you and your feelings and you feeling the way you feel."

I often wonder myself. I think maturity might have something to do with it. Also, people lack compassion or just can't communicate their true feelings. Some people are close minded and can't see that there are other people that have different ways of looking at things. Finally there are people that are just plain mean. I like the fact that you seem to be a really nice and caring person. Don't ever change.

it is a personal trait that has to be learned and if the person has never been shown that he/she will always avoid sincerity and use the un-caring aspects that causes the hurt to a loved one
in order to learn something they must be shown time over and you must have to have patience to do this because the hurt will get stronger before they change and become sincere and genuine

You have chosen the wrong person to talk to. If you contact a person who really care for you with love and sympathathy, you will definitely get back what you expect.

Because it would seem there's only one person mature enough in the equasion to do so. Pure and simple.
