He talks to me on msn atleast once a day, even when he has nothing to say (he made the excuse that i'd get angry if he didnt)
He texts me if he hasnt spoken to me in about 3 days...sometimes texts me out of the blue about things i wouldnt care about (ie, how his day was and stuff)
He teases me ALL the time and makes fun of me, calls me fat when i am not - provokes arguments, doesnt like to compliment me in any way whatsoever!
He talks about other girls who he has socially met and has a love interest with, even though none of them are successful!! LOL!!
He's a sweet, popular guy who isnt good with asking girls out and stuff, people say that he likes me, but considering how he talks to me and talks about OTHER girls, somehow i disagree.......
What do you think?
[Note: a lot of these are bad points, he does have good points too]

Of course he fancies you!! He's done everything except tattooing it on his forehead.
If he's shy and you fancy him. Make the move, he'll appreciate it. Don't do any of this sexist "oh it should be the boy who asks the girl" crap, because if he's truly shy he never will. If ya fancy him go for it, he blatantly fancies you.

I would say that yes, he probably does fancy you.
A lot of guys, especially those who aren't "great" with girls, use possibly poor attempts at humour as a semi-defence mechanism... it becomes their "language" - a form of communication that stops them getting too deep.
The real question is do YOU fancy him? If you do, then I would try and go out for a drink or something with him - get him on his own, some "quality" time and see if he drops his defences... try talking about more substantial topics etc - ie, his views on ....
Good luck

Quite often a guy will take the p* out of you because he is embarrassed and thinks that by being 'funny' and 'witty' you will find him attractive .. they dont realise that there is a real danger that it will turn you off them completely ...(guys rib each other all the time but then we are juvenile so its ok :)
I suggest you take the bull by the horns .. ask him straight out if he likes you .. I suggest that your superior intuition will tell you whether he does or not from what he does or doesnt say and you can take it from there ...

I think that most of the signs are there however there is also a good chance that he just likes you as a friend i say if you really want to find out and dont really care about your friendship then ask him you never know what might happen.

Do you know this man - have you actually met, do you know anyone that knows him too? If not, stay away. That is just plain weird. You cannot form a real attachment just by emailing and especially not texting. And he is calling you fat?? Beggars belief. Get shot of this dude and get out with your pals.

Sorry to say this but it sounds like he is keeping you as plan B you know when plan A does not work out.... I don't think he likes you allot....but there is something that he likes. Maybe he want's to make you jealous by talking about all these girls. But honey listen to me when i say that a man that speaks to you like that has no respect for you. So don't even bother.

He`s trying to get you to make a response to some of the points he`s making. Want`s your opinion on it, want`s you to get involved in his life a bit more probably ready for when you do start to date for real. Ask him yourself if you want to go out, you`ll never know otherwise.

He could have a liking to you... But like you stated:
[Note: a lot of these are bad points, he does have good points too]
This shows you see his bad points more than his good.. You have doubts in him.. Even if he like you, will you give your heart to him.. To someone you rather accuse than praise? Ask yourself that before you ask abt what he feels 'cos if does really like you, he will let you know, someday....

I feel... It is not the time yet to take it seriously. He may have found a good friend in you. Still you haven't enough situations in hand say something for sure.
But, one thing is for sure that is you are getting interested in that guy.

I think he's keen. Y dont you explore the subject? Its much easier to type the questions in than ask in person. Just come out with "what if this happenened" would you like it?
