I have been laid off due to a lack of work through the agency for about 2 months, My bills are pilled up everywhere and my children and I have an immediate need for groceries pampers , school clothing ect,. I have however found permanant employment and will be starting my new job on Tuesday sept 5,2006 .I find myself in a bad situation still because I dont have gas or luch money , which I will need to get myself to work , the baby to the sitter and my son to school. I know it is a holiday but if anyone know where i can get any type of assistance today anything will help. I have avoided county assistance because it takes too much time from my job search plus i am capable of working and I dont want to be part of an African American statistic of having babies and letting the government support them . I am very well educated and definetle could use some much needed assistance . I would hate myself if I ruined my chances @ work this early on .Please please -please someone help 916256617

you did not mention where your at there are many agencies that will help on like you ( as i was once in a situation like you) i am in Texas so much help here just have to know the places that will help us here u at???
