- you get to know new stuff that you didn't know.
- Some adverts are humorous and releave tension e.g geico
- you know where to get cheaper stuff or service than where you did b4
- some adverts explain how some things work and there4 increase knowledge.

Giving people facts they might not have been aware of previously. Also stuff such as community health announcements which reach a wider audience than they would without advertising. Think of anti-smoking ads, health campaign ads (they tell people where they can reach services), anti-violence ads, life-be-in-it (an old Australian ad promoting health eating and exercise).

positive is a judgment. What is positive for one person may be negative for another. Can you allow yourself to be creative with this Q rather than to find the "right" answer?
