Does a product exist to remove "No more nails"?

Question

I have two pieces of wood stuck together using no more nails, is it possible to free them, without damaging the orginal wood. It's a wooden trainset (Brio) glued to MDF.

Sorry to say but that bond is stronger than the wood itself. Any time I have tries to separate two pieces glued together with Liquid Nails - the wood broke and no the bonding agent.

These glues usually work by chemical reaction and bonding, rather than normal glue, which just works by drying out and being a bit sticky, so I doubt there's anything you can get that'll free them.

Might be worth trying a solvent, but that might also damage paintwork (if there is any). I have to say I'd be tempted to sacrifice the MDF with a small saw to free the trainset, then just tidy up the edges..

I don't think there's a solvent once its set hard, check on the tube and phone the manufacturers Henkel/Unibond. Otherwise all you can do is use a Shark saw or similar very thin flexible blade and saw between the two surfaces through the adhesive, then clean it up with a plane or sander.

if you are patient, slowly cut inbetween the two peices of wood with a knife. that might work. other than that i dont think there is anything out on the market. wait a minuate, they sell stuff to get construction grade glue off floors, for when us sloppy framers get glue all over, you might want to look fot some of that at your local hardware store. that might work
