You are so right. I have yet to see a history or maths or even geography teacher who is the right side of normal. Maybe it is a genetic thing - it goes that if you are born to be a maths/history/geography teacher then you are also born with the weirdo gene.

It's because they realize what a waste of time their topics are and of how they are a failure in life. They could find nothing better to do so they teach history, math, english, and all that other junk that youll never use.

when i was temping at a garage a female school teacher would come in daily whining and moaning about the 'hellish' 'brats' over whom she had, somewhere along the line, been deemed fit to 'teach' or probably more accurately babysit, i wish every school kid could see this side of their teachers: that is when they go home everyday and break-down because of their own collossal ineptitude...........i mean even if this is going on in just one class in each county it says it all to me.............modern schooling methods are archaeic at best.............teachers pupils and parents alike should be encouraged to think outside the box on this one as i'm convinced it's not working at the moment............

You have grown up teachers never do. The were educated at school, then went to school for a little longer then went back to school as teachers.

Well lets look ath the subjects they like - history - lots of things that have already happened (usually long ago) to people that are all long dead and maths - a load of figures to be manipulated by formula set out god knows hopw long ago - again by people that are now (probably) dead.
