bcoz more money comes from cricket
and media gives hype to cricket at the cost of other games
and cricket produces individual heroes on the field
while hockey is more of a team game compared to cricket

People enjoy cricket more. Just because a game is the National game doesnt mean its most popular nation wide.

properly cricket is having extra allure and britishers has given this in background like such numerous different issues. Hockey isn't having that allure and as a result that's not getting extra value. Cricket is extremely saleable commodity and it has grow to be hotcake. it would desire to get status of national sport by ability of tension of vested interest

becase now a day people are looking for easy things cricket is much easy than hocky thats why people like it
