My best friend who is the head of human resources at her company says that you should mention weaknesses that are actually strengths. For example being a perfectionist, or describing yourself as someone who has to finish what they've started,or even a workaholic to some extent.

haha, well this is a good question to be honest... trick is you have to be able to read people... if it seems like someone who really likes honesty... then point out your real weakness's and say you are willing to do any thing you can to over come them

how ever some employers don't truly listen to you and they just want to hear "i have no weakness's" or some made up crap to make it sound like they wont have any problems with you because they are too lazy to train or just simply don't have time

how ever i must say if you know a job has to do with some certain thing and you know you struggle with it or you don't know how to do it...

you best not lie and say you know it... because you will be stuck there and have no choice to suck it up and admit you lied that or possibly kill yourself or someone else by trying to do it even tho you don't know what your doing

I find that it helps to talk about one of your strengths but spin it as a weakness. For example, if you're tidy try saying something like you find it difficult to work in an untidy or cluttered workspace. Of course it depends on the job in question!

In the little guides you can get, they say to tell them something you can't really do very well (e.g. computer work) but then say that you're doing a course to improve your skills. Of course, you need to make sure you actually do do the course, otherwise they'll suss you out.

Well, your answer must not anyway be connected to the job which you are trying out for. Give a simple answer like maintaining my budjet was stiff challenge but still I did it.
