it depends on the situation and reason on breaking up!!!
If you both decided to end your relationship cause of some diferences,and if you both have closure and accept the fact that ur situation is better being apart than being together why not....after all you have share some time before...

yes only if you are not in a relationship but if you have a b/f or g/f then i wouldn't if i were you it will cause many problems he/ she is an ex for a reason think about why he is an ex b/f g/f
