Depends. There are leagues which do cost money, and leagues for free, including on Yahoo. Find what suits you.

With so, so many leagues the answer is it depends on the one you go to. There are plenty of free sites out there. There are also ones that charge, some more then others. To the one who said what fun is it if not for money, first off that is called FUN is the point, second I was on one one time that did have small prizes but was free to join. They made their money by having you buy trades, got two free each week and unless you paid for others you had none, and proably got plenty from advertising and such. Sorry that was awhile ago so can't remember who ran it. As to free ones just search for free fantasy football leagues if you want multiple ones.

Depends where you play it, there are THOUSANDS of leagues all ver the place.. sum free, sum theres a fee to join...it just depends. but i think the NFLs version is free

Yahoo has a free league and one that you pay for. My suggestion is join the free league.

depends. some leagues are free. but why play if it isn't for money? that adds to the excitement.

i played on that last year and i didnt have to pay so i dont think they would change it so no its free
