I have 3 grandchildren on my knee - Vera, Chuck and Dave.
How old am I?
: )
PS: THIS IS A MUSICAL QUESTION. You will not be able to answer it unless you can grasp a song title.

I see what you mean, Backman! If it's a girl-doggie...um, is she seeing anyone?

A lot of folks have the song right, but no-one has the answer right. Think about it...

Nice try, David! But the 'trick' is more of a logical one. Read the lyrics carefully ; )

Well, if 1 dog year = 7 human years, that makes you 448 in human terms! Working on the assumption that "When I'm 64" is the right song.

It's a song called when i am 64.
When I get older losing my hair,
Many years from now.
Will you still be sending me a valentine
Birthday greetings bottle of wine.
If I'd been out till quarter to three
Would you lock the door,
Will you still need me, will you still feed me,
When I'm sixty-four.
You'll be older too,
And it you say the word,
I could stay with you.
I could be handy, mending a fuse
When your lights have gone.
You can knit a sweater by the fireside
Sunday mornings go for a ride,
Doing the garden, digging the weeds,
Who could ask for more.
Will you still need me, will you still feed me,
When I'm sixty-four.
Every summer we can rent a cottage,
In the Isle of Wight, if it's not too dear
We shall scrimp and save
Grandchildren on your knee
Vera Chuck & Dave
Send me a postcard, drop me a line,
Stating point of view
Indicate precisely what you mean to say
Yours sincerely, wasting away
Give me your answer, fill in a form
Mine for evermore
Will you still need me, will you still feed me,
When I'm sixty-four.
Could it be that the :) means 21 as it has tow dot for the 2 and one ) for the one.?

Well if you take the literal words from the song you would be "many years from 64". But if you want technical, Paul McCartney released the song in 1967, and he was born in 1942, so when he released this song he would have been 25.
