I'm from Croatia so I'll have to ask you to forgive me for any grammar mistakes.I've been to Greece and I was stunned by its
beauty.The Acropolis of Athens is one of the most important
sites of Greece and there you'll find architectural masterpieces
such as Parthenon,Erechtheon or the temple of Athena Nike.
You also wouldn't like to miss Delphi(in ancient times it was the site of the most important oracle of the god Apollo)and Epidaurus(were you'll find the ruins of the theatre). My journey through Greece was like a trip back in past,the mystery of those little islands and the towns as well as villages covered with the mist of history
will imprison you in their own world.Need I to mention their mythology?As for people they're friendly and
talkative(they speak English very good),but you should be warned:there are 'bad' parts of towns were people can heardly wait to grab some cash from a tourist.I,luckily,didn't have any problems and was blessed with an exellent weather.I could go on about Greece forever but I'ts up to you to find out the charms of Greece.I wish you good luck!

Never been to mainland Greece but have always found the locals on the Greek islands to be very friendly.

Spent years around a large Greek community in SE Idaho...thought they were great people and really good neighbors...plus the 'open to the public' festivals that the Greek Orthodox Church put on were fantastic.

I like their food, but I've never been to Greece and have met very few Greek people. I'd love to visit though.

Danger- prejudice follow-
I hate the greeks- they won the European Championships in Soccer in 2004 with the most boring system of all... Knocked France out of the Championship and won with a system that was used 50 years ago.
I HATE THEM!
