I bought an appartment in a building about to be construction.
Originally on the architect's plans the fasade was supposed to be:13 m.
Now the appartment is under construction and by measurement the real fasade (incl. walls, columns) is 12 m.
How comes???

Engineers/ Architects sometimes get a bad rap for this. Often the designers plans cannot be duplicated in real life. Building codes, common material sizes, labor problems, and the ever present money crunch keeps whats on the paper from becoming reality. Even so, check with your contractor, landlord etc. if you are not pleased, or if you feel you have been cheated.
