You don't have to change your email address, as it is possible to authenticate to BT email over the Internet (as well as many other providers email accounts). However, it is also possible for BT to configure their systems to disallow this type of access (i.e. if you are using another ISP), so that you have to be directly connected using BT Internet to connect to your email. When you get your Talk Talk account, try it and see.

Not at all, Your broadband connection just connect u to internet. Email addresses are platform-independent irrespective of the ISP's. ISP is internet service provider.
you must know the website to login, and even after your broadband changes, u'll be able to access the email address through that website.
You don't have to change your email address at all.

Talk Talk will supply you with new e-mail address.... Ask BT if you can keep your old e-mail address on a Pay As You Go Dial Up account... You wont be charged for this as you dont use dial up.

Have recently changed to talktalk and the email address talktalk give you is " your phone number " @talktalk.net.

Have also changed to Yahoo which also gives a good service and is free.

I changed my email address, but I think you can keep your old one, the only problem I can see by keeping it is that your new ISP will be talktalk which shows in your email address ie. your old address could be xxxx@bt com which would be strange as your new provider would be xxx@talktalk.net.

Trust this makes sense to you.
