check with an eye doc to make sure your ok, but if it's just soreness, try this:
buy an inexpensive blindfold (the kind made for sleep), prefferably a waterproof one. before you go to bed every night, take a cucumber that's been in the fridge and slice two peices. put it underneath the blindfold over your eyes with your eyes closed. it reduces puffiness and helps relax the areas around your eyes. you can also use post-steeped-frozen teabags. they work wonders, especially peppermint.
and good job for not smoking. congrats. I'm trying to quit. it makes me look too young. lmao.

Hate to say it but see an optician or your Doc. There might be something they can see looking into your eyes that asking someone on here wont be able to identify

maybe you just have sensitive eyes... or could it be some sort of eye infection.
I would suggest seeing an optician, just to be safe..eyes are important
