Gods Plan? what utter rubbish... basically if you spend your time around dangerous animals long enough sooner or later one of them is gonna get you... that's not Gods Plan... thats common sense.

While I respect all religions, (except the Atheist Cult) I really think that blaming God for every little thing that goes wrong may be simply expecting too much from the Universe at large. Perhaps we are here in this Universe to learn some responsibility for ourselves and the world around us, eh?

Steve was Steve. He did what he loved, he, like Frank Sinatra, "did it his way" and he died doing what he loved. It was HIS choice. (I'm sure "God" was much too busy worrying about picking his fantasy team for the NFL season to have had much to do with it!)

If he could do it again, I'm sure he would have added a touch more caution in order to squeeze out another 10-15 years (especially for the family) I know I certainly wish he had. But he was who he was and he's gone.

The world is a better place for Steve Irwin having been with us for his 44 years and that's the best we can say about anyone.

It's a horribly sad time, and we'll all miss him, but put simply, it was his time to go. God is alive and in charge, He has a plan for Terri and their kids, wait and see. We need to keep the faith and not turn from Him because we're upset or mad, sometimes we're lucky and get to see what the reasons are....a quote from the Bible is helpful, and no matter what the naysayers say or think, it's true:

Ecclesiastes 3: 1- 8
1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 a time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

There's more to the quote...it might help you understand a little about God's timing.

It is the plan of God that none should perish. However, we are the ones in charge of our own lives. God will not interfere with that. I do not know if Steve believes in God, with all respect to Steve. If Steve asked for protection then God would have been there to protect him. God does not interfere unless we ask Him to , that is the rule: "ask and you shall receive." The opposite is true: you don't ask and you don't receive. In the Bible it says "you have not because you ask not."...Now the Bible also say that "my people perish for lack of knowledge." If only Steve knew he can ask God to protect him. But also remember this: Ignorance of the law /rule does not excuse you. people will pay or will enjoy the consequence/benefit respectively of the law. Hope this helps you. God loves you too, and would like you to know the laws. Do not be ignorant of it and enjoy the benefits.

May God bless his dear heart and lend strength to those Mr. Irwin left behind: his lovely wife, his beautiful children, the animals he loved so much, and us. He is with Sui now. Rest in peace, Crocodile Hunter. Your work here is done.

Steve was a nice man but he had crossed the line on many occassons, you can't take things for granted always, such a thing was always on the cards, over confidence will not succeed always.

Think of such things in a thousand year time frame. It is not the individual that matters; instead it is the species

no one can say the exact reason of why god decided to take steve irwin so early in his life...maybe because with steve irwin he not only took home an angel but he also took home an angel that could take care of the animals?!

I don't like it much either, but the man always flirted with death. It did not need divine intervention to get him killed in action. Also, I'm glad that he died the way he lived - I wouldn't mind going like Steve when the time comes. Those that survive him will hopefully be alright.

WE MUST NOT JUDGE HIM.. may God rest his soul!
Try to be with God every day: say a prayer in the morning, at noon, all day long think about the beautiful things HE has given us...we choose what to do with our lives...dangerous or less dangerous things!
