There are loads around but what is the difference between all of them? There's PAR 16, 36, 56, 64.

Do you mean cans or lamps? You need to be more specific, what do you want to know? The ones you mentioned are different sizes and caps, some are halogen and some are tungsten, some are pressed, some are blown. Different manufacturers have different ref. numbers as well!
