Hi Vicky

Sorry to hear about your situation. Uoui can go to your nearest Mosque, speak to the Iman, explain to him what happened. You need good grounds to divorce but the Iman should be able to help you trace your husband, also procede with the divorce. I know this because someone i knew went through the motions. Iman was very helpful and it only took weeks before she got her divorce.

Good luck

The best reverse cell phone lookup service that I have tried is http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=538

From using a reverse cell phone lookup you will be able to get the callers name and address just by typing the phone numbers they will tell you the details related to the number. The reverse cell phone lookup service has your details available they will give you the cell phones location. For a full report including a name and address and other interesting informations you will have to pay. All reverse cell phone lookup services charge for the information as it is a contract bind between the mobile company and themselves, where they pay for the info. Enter the number in the system and they will tell you a lot of informations about the phone number and the person who owns it. If they have extra details you will have to pay for the report. If you only want to reverse lookup one cell phone or land-line phone number you will be charged about $15 but if you need to reverse lookup more than one phone or cell phone number you can get a years access to their database.

Free reverse phone lookup sites generally provide the most basic of information such as name and it works only for landlines. To get further information, money will have to be paid. The free searches do not provide much more than what can be found through the phone book.

This service is great, I used it a lot f time with great results: I always obtained what I was searching for. I definitly reccomend this service, check it out: http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=538

I agree you need to consult a Solicitor to see where you stand. I use to work in one so know you can get 15-30 minutes fee advice, call your local solicitors and see if they have a free Legal advice clinic, if you are on benefits you can claim legal aid in which you don't have to pay, the government does. But it is worth the free advice to see if you are registered in this country as being married. Good luck.

After a certain time living apart, you don't need him to agree to a divorce to get one.

Go and speak to your citizens advice buraeu. They will give you advice for free & you may be able to get financial help if you do need to do any legal proceedings.

Good luck :-)

tough question.

well if you didn't sign any papers, together with saying your vows, i suppose most secular states will consider your marriage ineffective. However in case your marriage was officially registered it may be very difficult to divorse him without his consent.

Why don't you seek legal advice? Not paying a lawyer, but just contact a legal helpline. They may have a thing or two to say

it may be that you are not legally married according to western law.
seek advice from a community legal aid office.

change your name and your address and live your life without him, it was never registered here so don't worry about it-it's your life and we all make mistakes, learn from it.
