Last vacation my wife and me stayed at a Country Inn and Suites.
Accomodation was great blah blah blah...
Around 9 pm we decided to practice reproduction.
Thing is that the headboard was not properly attached to the wall, and an annoying banging was produced towards the next room.
Nobody complained.
At about 10 pm, the need for preserving the specie came again to us, so we started our job again... more banging, moaning, etc...
Again, luckily, nobody complained.
Okay, it's 11:30 pm and we don't feel like sleeping yet, so, while watching Conan, we get mushy mushy again and the banging starts one more time...
This time our "probably tired" neighbors start to punch the wall like maniacs towards us like the hotel was on fire...
Fortunately we managed to come anyways.
Questions:
Was our fault for being on heat?
Was Country Inn's fault for not attaching properly the headboard?
Was Country Inn's fault for constructing such poor walls?
Was the neighbor's fault for being awake?

May be the hotel designed their walls for those who believe in 'once is enough in a day' theory ! Perhaps, they should ask about your 'banging' habits while accepting booking requests and allot rooms accordingly !! Their CRM system should be enhanced !!!

You're at fault. Should have been more considerate and fixed the problem when it started or at least on the second time around.
Loose bedboards absorb the impact from your partners head!
If poor wall contruction was the case you would have plowed you, your wife, and the bed right through the wall and right into the next room and into the company of your "probably angry" neighbors.
Neighbors were probably kept up from you "banging" your wife!
In conclusion, live and learn... I'd wedge some phonebooks between the headboard and walls next time ;)

NO, ALTHOUGH CHEAP HOTELS USUALLY HAVE CHEAP THIN WALLS.
Was the neighbor's fault for being awake?
UH, SOUNDS LIKE YOU WERE A BIT DISCOURTEOUS TO YOUR NEIGHBORS. THE QUITER THE PLACE, THE QUITER YOU SHOULD BE.

Firstly...congratulations on your power of recovery!!
Being on heat = normal, healthy behaviour
Headboard = You'd think it would have been attached properly, what if it had fallen? BUT if it was making a noise why didn't you put a pillow behind it, or did you like providing the entertainment?
Simple see!

At that time, it was your fault for not respecting other hotel members. It comes under noise pollution. Couldn't you have managed it on the floor as the walls in hotels are paper thin anyway

It's your fault for being boring... If you knew after the first time that you're disturbing the neighbours, why didn't you try 'doing it' somewhere else rather than in your bed. Plenty of possibilities in a hotel room.

Well, I think everyone wins except the hotel because you had a lot of action, and if your neighbors were smart they complained to the hotel and if they had a statement saying they guarenteed satisfaction they get a lot of benifits. And the hotel loses because of cleanup.

If the Inn management was aware of the problem it was partialy their fault.
It was at least partially your fault as you were aware of the problem, or the possiblity of a problem arising, and didn't try to do anything about it.
