That is a tough question for someone who is not engaged in to any kind of exercise. Sometimes, it doesn't matter how much we eat. What counts is the content of our food intake. Dieting shoud still be a priority and it means not just in quantity but the quality of the food. Doing some exercises should also help along side with the condition of your mind that what you are doing should reap a wonderful result. Try to set a model figure for yourself and always strive to look better than it.

i work at a gym and the problem that i find most is that women dont eat enough sound strange u must eat brekky and morning tea to kick start u metabolism and tune up your metabolic rate .
what happens when u skip meals or dont eat enough or iregulay your body goes in to starvation mode and it starts storing fat as it doesnt know when its going to get feed again.
this is a vicious cycle try food low gi and low carbs high protein meat and chicken this will really help .
of course 30 mins min per day will help walk or join curves the ladies gym 30 minute work out and questions email me :).
Good luck take it one step at a time

its not always in how much you eat...its how you eat. Eat healthy foods....and of course you need to exercise. The less you do the less calories you need to take in.
