Someone said that happens when God wants to decorate Heaven so he picks us up like flowers when the time is right. A childlishly simplisitic question but I still want to know 'cause it just doesn't make sense. We need good people more on Earth than he needs them in Heaven. He's all right by Himself but truly good people are a bliss. Anyways, I just got really sad at finding out about Steve Irwin's death and also, years ago, about Alyiah's.

Hindu's have the same notion. We believe that human life is a suffering so He calls good human being early. He sends good soul to accomplish some good deed and when it is finished he calls them.

The sad facts are the result of not Gods will but that of his rival and enemy. God does not take or need children in heaven. The Heaven many speak of is only a vague representation of Gods realm. As you say this does not make sense. Unforeseen things happen all the time. That's why things are called accidents. Death can come too soon as a result of many factors. But it should never be referred to as Gods will unless one understand the whole purpose of the heavenly realm. Those that are chosen to serve in heaven rather than on earth have assignments to fulfill. The role they serve as Kings and Priest in the Government will soon overthrow this earth. Those dear young children and precious ones will be given life on earth and not suffer from the former things that shall pass away. Please read Revelation 21:1-5 as it describes what God will do for all obedient mankind. Isn't it comforting to know that temporary pain and tears and suffering shall be removed by the God of love. Parents need their children with them on earth to enjoy paradise. You are so correct when you say God does not need them in Heaven. If you pray to God for more answers with a sincere humble heart....you shall know the truth and it will set you free from all the nonsense of this world The corrupt religious and governmental leaders shall pay the price for being puppets of Satan. The father of LIES.

Not always. It just appears that way because the "hurt" is magnified. Look at the number of sucide bombers and their age. To the believers it is an act of God and they will go straight to "heaven". To the non believers it is such a tragic lost of lives - their and others too that are caught in the crossfire.

I know - I just don't get this god thing.

If he is all around us & we live on his earth, why are babies dying of horrendous diseases & innocent people being taken in their prime?

Why are some kids born with leukeamia and the likes of Ian Brady & Myra Hindley get to be pensioners? Yes, she may have cancer but it's not as if she was in her 20s!!

And that ar*ehole school janitor who killed the two school girls, why is he living the life of luxury?

"Gods will" is not good enough answer for me!!!

If you are referring to artists and entertainers it only seems that way since it is publicized. So many die young because their energy is too much, they burn out to quick. Its a tragedy, but it happens to everyone.
