It is a guaranty - service for a product till the Life Prescribed by law is over. This means a Scooter has fixed life for 15 years and during that period if Life Warranty is given repair service will be given free but charges will be for replacement parts only if specified in terms and conditions.

a warranty stating that the product is as good as it says it is either for the entire "lifetime" of the product...until it is "fried"..."finished"...no longer usable. many time, "lifetime warranty" will have a stipulation that it is only good for as long as YOU, the original owner, maintains possession of it.
