An old friend phoned me, it was late and i listened to her for two hours, i was tired the next day as i had to get up with kids, she never goes to work, so goes to bed late. Anyway i phoned her and one day and she said she was tired and did not have time. I have no spoken since i needed her at that time and she could not be bovered. Also i have noticed when she is with other people she does not want to know me, its only when i am on my own so i have not bovered with her, i could not freeze people out. Should i be more honest with her, i just really do not like this sort of thing and felt hurt.

this girl sounds like one depressing person. She is also very selfish. Dump her and find a new friend that will also listen to your problems and give you the support you deserve.

It puzzles me why you would term her as a friend because she is not one to you.
She might have been once, but she certainly isn't now. I would end all communication. If she calls, tell her sorry you are busy and hangup. No matter if she calls again, tell her the same. After a few tries she will find a new sucker. If you allow her back to use you, then it's your own fault and you shouldn't complain about it.
