If you put 2 ordinary mirrors together at a right angle and look into the part where they come together then you will have a reflection where the image isn't reversed.

There are some games on the Playstation EyeToy programmes that do a true reflection - and it's an absolute nightmare! The TV is showing a target on your left side, yet we are so used to looking into mirrors, you will always raise your right hand instead of your left - even when you see the screen reverse, and you consciously know you need to move the other side!

As one other person mentioned, not sure why you'd want a mirror that does this anyway, unless you are wearing a t-shirt that you want to read in the mirror? The fact that you are seeing a reversed reflection makes no difference to your appearance, apart from what you see is reversed to what everyone else sees. Except for a parting, shouldn't you normally aim for a symmetrical look to your face anyway?

Mirrors don't reflect left to right - it's just another thing that people say which isn't actually based on any source of fact and the actual answer is very straightforward.
Mirrors reflect light that hits it staright back to where it came from. For example, if you put your left up to the mirror you will be able to touch the reflection of it in the mirror. The light from your left hand moves straight towards the mirror and is reflected staright back to the source (your hand).
The question you ask is where can you find a mirror that DOES reverse the image left/right?
Not that it helps at all, use the camera on your mobile to comb your hair and the reversed image makes it very difficult to do.

Come on - a mirror reflects! That means that it will always appear in the same manner just like looking into still water or any other reflective surface.

Whilst the sort of image you are looking for could be made it would involve other lenses or electronics and no one would want it. Trying to use one would be totally confusing to your brain.

Why would you want to do it though? When you look at others you see exactly the same image they see when they look in the mirror and therefore they see the same image of you.

You need two mirrors. I've seen this done at a hall of mirrors. It's really weird. You're used to a reflection that's facing you and raises its right hand when you raise your left. When you reverse that and both you and your reflection raise your right hand, it blows your mind - if you try to get your reflection to raise its right hand, you automatically raise your left - very hard to override that reaction.

They also had one where you saw your back in the mirror!!! That was very strange too.

Hi,

You need a concave hemispherical mirror,

a domed mirror, which is hollow
when you look into it you see a compound reflextion

somtimes the inside of a highly polished, deeply dished spoon works

You need two mirrors joined at right angles, and you look into the angle. I have a corner display cabinet which does this.
