I'd buy an Island, somewhere nice.
Put the rest in a high-interest account & live the life of Riley!
& I'd give a lot of it away 2 Charity.

It depends on the money received in the lottery. If it is less than one million, buy stocks, shares, etc., and invest in mutual fund and try to multiply the money whichever the way possible in a safe way.

I would do what you indicated you would do, but I would also set up a scholarship fund for college applicants who come from decent hardworking families who can not afford the high prices of college.

Wow, you have it all planned out, did you win the lottery! '

I wouldn't tell ANYONE except my mother and I'd swear her to secrecy and then I'd have to spend some time thinking about what I'd do with the money. There are immediate things I would pay and resolve that I can't afford to now and there are specific places I want to donate money to, the rest I'd have to think about.
