I'm glad he died doing something he loves. If you have to go, that should be the way.

nicely, the guy made a profession out of sticking his palms into the nether-areas of crocodiles and different multiple risky animals, so it did not come as a extensive marvel. it fairly is all extremely marvelous from my Australian attitude, in case you had cited the call Steve Irwin to any Australian in 2003, the reaction could have been "Steve who? Who the *** are you speaking approximately?" - he became basically observed as an identity interior the media right here for approximately 3 years or so in the previous he died, and now that he's lifeless, he's spoken approximately as though he were some towering determine among Australian celebrities. i for my section have blended critiques approximately him - i understand he did some stable issues for the reason for organic worldwide maintenance, yet he additionally set a comparatively idiotic occasion at circumstances (eg: letting his daughter bypass close to a croc), and that i remember him spouting some particularly ignorant political critiques to boot. fairly, his death from a stingray wound is a testomony to the reality that he engaged in deadly and pointless activities with too plenty informal flippancy. And particular, it rather is unlucky for his relatives.

It's terrible. I'm sure he will be missed...I just cannot bring my head around it a legend is dead just like that. He did so much for animals, he was funny and kept the whole world entertained. I just found out this morning. It's so sad. I remeber watching him when i was about 10 and thinking 'I love this man' it's such a shame. I'll miss him loads. It's good he died doing what he loved best but he was young. He'll be in my thoughts forever I'm sure.

i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet

I like Jeff Corwin better anyway, so I could care less about Steve Irwin.
I do feel for his orphaned children, though.

It is a great loss.
I believe this was bound to happen at some point.
We need to respect animals.
His children should be proud of him.
He taught us a good deal
we will miss him on our tv.

I will never forget the images of this idiot feeding a croc while holding his new baby. That and his over the top antics turned me right off him.

But its sad that he has died. I feel for his kids and his wife.
I guess he died doing what he loves, which, when my turn comes, is what i hope i will be doing.
