She'll get used to them. Just keep offering them to her. Sometimes it can take up to 15 tries to get a baby to accept a new food! The first few times I gave my daughter peas, she hated them too. She would shiver every time a put the spoon in her mouth and squish her face up like they tasted sour! It was actually kind of funny! She has been eating them now for two months and LOVES them. She has no problem at all eating them now. She just had to get used to the new taste. Hang in there! Dont give up trying to give them to her. She will take them eventually. She just needs to get used to them!

At first babies will reject some foods, keep offering them every day, just few spoonfuls at a time, and they will grow on them. My daughter loves peas now, but at first she would only eat a little bit at a time. Just keep trying.

My daughter loved them, in fact she loved all of the veggies. It is also strange she hated the fruits all of them. I encouarage you to keep trying the peas. Good eating habits now will lead to them in the future. You can try adding something that she does like. Such as sweet potatoes with some peas that way at least she can benifit from them. Hope that helps

My 5 1/2 month old loves them - I think they might be her favourite, with green beans in close second. The first time she had them, she ate a half jar all at once, and that isn't counting the rice cereal I mixed them with. She hates a lot of the foods babies normally love, like bananas, so it doesn't surprise me how much she likes green veggies.

Peas are my daughters favorite food. I will put a pile of them on her tray and she will, one by one, eat all of them. She ate 2 cups full the other night and dinner!
Keep trying with the peas. Babies taste buds are constantly changing. She may like them the 3rd time you try.

Hi,
boiled peas are not liked by babies... you should cook them with some other vegetables and then make you baby eat them along with other vegetable - only then they will develop taste towards peas and will slowly start liking them.

my 21 year old still hates them! However, the younger children enjoy them now, but I don't think any of them particularly like peas or pea-flavour when they were babies.

You are going to try it a couple of times. The first time I gave my son chicken noodle gerber food he actually said yuck and started spitting it out. Now he loves it.
