Leave it alone --

A spider will in no way harm your plant !
it is probably doing a good job, keeping your cactus insect free .

She would not have chosen this place, to live if she did not think it was a good and safe place, to set up house .

If she is huge and hairy ... i would be inclined not, to sit near her .

i have a small busy spider, that lives in my angle poise lamp ,on my computer desk
( i have tried to evict her but she refuses to go! )

. she comes out and repairs her web and watches me post , with great interest .

She is' mustard' at catching mosquitoes, that fly around and annoy me.

I would miss her if she left .

Leave the little tyke in your cactus alone ,
you may hurt her , yourself and the cactus , when attempting to evict her , from her neat little home .

You should relocate the spider but the only way of doing that is to get the spider out and that would probably kill it by the time you've extricated the spider so the real choices are
a) Kill it
b) Don't kill it but you're plant dies

I choose "a"

It's alot better than a cactus living on your spider! Get a shoe and kill it.

Leave it there. If any bugs dare to try and destroy your cactus, they'll have to deal with Spidey first.

Check to see if it's poisonous or not before you start "moving it".
