I hate fair weather fans. Those who cheer for a team just because they are the winners.

I don't HATE the fans of a particular team, however, I would have to say that Red Sox fans are by far the rudest.

True story, I was visiting a friend at a local hospital, and while waiting for the elevator to arrive, a Boston fan just walks up and tries to start an argument with me about the Yankees and Red Sox. I try to thwart the situation by saying to this waste of his parents love-making session that this isn't the time or place to talk Yankees/Red Sox. I'm here to see my friend who is very ill. This guy wouldn't stop. He just kept on and on and on and on about how the Yankees spend all the time, and how Boston fans are TRUE FANS, etc . . .

Finally, I heard enough of his Taurus-Feces (a/k/a B.S.) and called hospital security to have this guy removed from the premises. The guy just starts yelling at the top of his lungs calling me every dirty name in the book, threatening to kick my butt and things like that while he is being escorted away. The fun part for me was overhearing a security guard say to the guy in a very authoritative manner, " . . . Boston SUCKS! Now SHUT UP! . . ."

That being said, a majority of Red Sox fans that I have met in my life are good, honest, hard-working, law-abiding people, and the rivalry does make for some great friendly banter.

Cub Fans are probably the dumbest fans on the face of the earth. Red sox fans are no better. Give them an old stadium to play in and all of a sudden you have tradition.

Being a Yankee fan, the natural choice would be the Red Sox fans, but I haven't had the opportunity (or misfortune) to see very many other fanbases, so I can't truly say which is the worst.

I don't hate any fans. The other fans just make the rivalry better. Personally I'm a Cubs fan.

Phillies fans because they are all obnoxious.

Red Sox fans the most because they always find a way to trash the Yanks and talk smack when their team is like 9 games back of making the playoffs. What a bunch of losers

I dont hate any GOOD fans who know a lot about the game. In general, there are more ignorant NY fans than anywhere else but I dont hate NY fans as a group because there are plenty of good Yankee and Mets fans.

I hate people who say they hate certain fans. It's a form of racism. It's like me saying I hate all white, black or hispanic people because of a few bad apples. There are fans for every single team who happen to be a$$wholes. It doesn't mean they're all bad.
