That is the only time you can get pregnant, you need to be ovulating for the sperm to enter the egg, there are only a few days in the month when this happens, ask your doctor for some advise.
Good luck.

If your cycle is 28 days, the ovulation (egg comes out of ovary) is about on the 14th day. Sperm lives 4-5 days (sometimes more), and the egg lives 1-2 days. So the best chances are between the 9th and the 15-16th days.

So do not need to have sex from the 16th day to the 28th day (if your husband agrees!), then no sex during the period obviously, then from the 9th or 10th day go for it as much as you can!

Also, while positions do not make much of a difference, it seems that deeper penetration (say, man on top, woman with legs up), and woman staying with legs up afterwards to make the most of sperm released, do help at least a bit.

Good luck

When my wife (my ex now) and I were planning to have our first child, we kept track of her monthly periods. We did this for about 6 months, long enough to get an average timeline. We wouldn't have any sex until about the week before her period until she had her period. It took us about 6 months of trying and then she got pregnant with our daughter.

Everybody is different. The key is timing. Also the less frequently you have sex, the more potent your husbands sperm supply will be plus it'll be some damn good sex too!!!!!

Also talk to your doctor and see if there are any fertility problems with you or your husband. Your doctor can also give you advice or treatment to help your situation.

Good Luck.

To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released. That is the only time to get pregnant.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.

After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

Most women ovulate 7 days before their next period starts, so if you have a regular 28 day cycle you will ovulate around day 21 (counting day 1 as the first day of your period). If you have been trying for more than 6 months, your GP can organise blood tests to check that you are ovulating and semen analysis for your husband.
