Hey, I am no hottie as you put it, and care neither for popularity or never did but it does seem to be an issue with so many of the young today.
I'd relax, the harder you try the more difficult it will be to fit in.

You are 14,right? At your age I had my head buried in my books,studying hard to graduate from high school!!What you should do is leave popularity for now and face your studies. You know,boys don't like girls who can't hold their own in class(it's a secret,even though they call you a nerd,geek,whatever).Most popular students have a hard time concentrating on academics,your parents will not thank you for failing in school because of some cheap popularity. It is hard,but it is true!!! Popularity comes with a price young one.

except you think of she'll benefit from the humor in being cheesy and goofy, i would not throw anybody liners at her. they are going to continuously come off corny, yet some women will locate humor in that. in basic terms be your self and ask her to dangle out sometime!
