I've never heard of a pill that didn't have side effects. There is the IUD, the Depo shot, or the sterilization that doctors won't do unless you've already had at least two kids and are over twenty five *bastards*. Condoms are the only thing that protect against STD's so I would reconsider not using them. You should be talking to your doctor about this

Check out the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" look into classes on Natural Family Planning and Fertility Awareness Method.
It is hard to explain in one short post so check out the book. You can get it cheep at half.com or amazon.com. Surf on the web for more info about this method. But do NOT, let me repeat, DO NOT use this method unless you have practiced for a few months and know your cycle and have read and studied hard.
It is an easy method AFTER the learning phase. And it WORKS!
Good luck.
((I am guess you mean "how to avoid pregnancy" stopping a pregnancy would be a bit harder and abortion is not healthy.))

It's not likely to find one without side effects, but you can discuss options with your OB. Sometimes you have to try all sorts of versions of the pill before you find one with low incidence of side effects for you. I've heard the NuvaRing is very effective and has the least amount of side effects.

Oh, and congrats on getting married and finding that distinctive somebody.

well there are no pills with abosolutely no side effects... your best bet is no sex, condoms, or pull out m,ethod ( pull out right before ejaculation) but pull out is hard to guage and not for the inexperienced... i actually got pregnant while usingthis method but later had a misscarriage... it took six months before i got pregnant though, so you might want to consider going to the doctor... he'd know best, maybe an iud is rigyht for you... or a diapraghm

I suppose you don't want to STOP pregnancy, but rather AVOID it?
About the pill, go talk to your doctor. He/she will help you in the process of finding a pill that works best for you without side effects.
After all, they studied for it and it's part of their professional responsibilities..

have you thought of things other than the pill? talk to your dr. about the depo shot or the ring. I used the shot for 5 years. It worked wonderfully! (Big plus, no yucky pms to worry about!)
