Establish regular sleeping, eating and play times. Take your cues from your baby. Note how long she stays up until her first nap (this is usually good play time) and what time she likes to take her second or even third nap. Note what time she is usually ready for night time and schedule her dinner and bath ahead by about one to two hours.

The key is that you don't start the routine, your baby starts the routine for you. Basically, you are at their mercy! Welcome to parenthood! Just kidding.

You should structure your day around your baby's schedule. You can start bedtime routines, so your baby knows that bedtime is near. Start with a bath then maybe a bottle, spend some quiet time together in the recliner reading a couple books, and then it's bedtime. Then when bath time rolls around, your baby will know it's almost bed time.

my son is on a schedule. He just turned 8 months. Hes teething now so of course he wakes up for a bottle but goes right back to sleep. Hes sleeping by 8:30 and awake in the morning at 7. Just start out slowly. Put your kid in the crib and let him cry for a little while so that will teach him that its time to sleep. Good luck!

You really cant at that age.. Babies at that age sometimes still don't sleep all night and have other issues like cutting teeth and gas issues ( colic ) Give the little person a break and wait a little while longer..
