If you exclude Gods (ie. Thor, and Hercules, etc..) with "cosmic entities" such as Galactus and all his former Heralds, as well as the Elders of the Universe, and the Shaper of Worlds , then you have a problem. Because in the marvel universe, once you eliminate all the Gods and Cosmic beings, the superhumans who remain all have a equal, so its near impossible to name one. Like The Hulk is probably the Strongest Mutate because his power (Strength) increases exponentially with anger, or it once did. So i dont think its an answerable question in Marvel. In DC it would probably be Superman, DC is easier. WAIT!! it just occured to me, there are two unmatchable superhumans in Marvel.. One is the kid of Susan Storm and Reed Richards of the Fantastic four, Fraklin Richards..he has so much power he has put mental blocks on himself to keep himself from using his powers till he's old enough to understand them.. and then theres the first mutant born on earth, Apocalypse. His power is also unmeasurable....so forget what i said in beginning of this LOL

Im done, my geekdom is showing LOL.. lata!

For DC Comics, there are Superman, Wonder Woman, the Martian Manhunter, Shazam (Captain Marvel), Mary Marvel, Captain Marvel Junior, various Green Lanterns, Supergirl, Starfire. If you like your teams mentioned... Teen Titans, Justice League of America, Justice Society of America and the Legion of Superheroes will save your bacon.

In the land of Marvel, there is the Incredible Hulk, the Phoenix, The Thing, The Sentry, Dr. Strange, Prince Namor, Captain Marvell and Ms. Marvell. Teams will include the Fantastic Four, The Avengers, The Defenders, X-men.

I think that is enough to go on.

DC universe = The Spectre. Way back in the original 'Crisis' he went toe-to-toe with a galactic entity. That was the old Spectre. Now the 2nd Green Lantern Hal Jordan is the Spectre. Hal was so powerful as a Green Lantern that he caused the universe to 'reboot' in the Zero Hour cross over. So add the Spectre to Hal Jordan = Strongest.

As far as Marvel goes I'll go with 'The Power Pack'. They were destroyers of brain cells everywhere they were read.

In the dc: The Big Three (Supes, Bats, Wonder Woman), Green Lantern, Spectre (He is the stronger because he is a form of God's Wrath!)

Marvel: The Sentry and Hulk

Lots of good informed answers. Marvelwise, if you've been keeping up with the universe the last few years, then you'd know The Sentry is the most powerful. He's got the power of "a million exploding suns." Even the Hulk is no match for him.

Marvel i will agree witht eh Franklin Richars assesment above AND don't forget Rachel Summers either, daughter of Cyclops and Jean Grey.

As or DC, well Superman could be, but I am going to have to side the Green Lantern his Ring allows him to use his own will to do just about anything, quoting "He is armed witht eh greatest weapon in the universe"
