i think she has moved on but i miss her deeply but still don't want 2 b embarresed by any in difference frm her part

Yes, get in touch with her, chances are she may still want to contact you too, but she is too scared to contact you after so long. Give her a call have a chat see if she wants to catch up, if she does good if she doesn't move along. I'd be glad if a friend from the past called me! Good friends are forever so go for it...
