YOU CANNOT LOSE YOU'RE VIRGINITY TO A TAMPON!!!! GROW UP PEOPLE! The hymen is not a sign of virginity. It's just a membrane that tears sometimes when a woman has sex the first time. Most women tear theirs due to sports or crap like that. Sorry to use up your answer space for that hun, as far as the tampons thing goes, it's difficult when you're new at it. Just keep trying. Maybe use a mirror to see what you're doing or rather not doing. If it gets frustrating, just stick to pads, but don't get discouraged you'll catch on. Maybe check out the diagrams that are on the instructions. I know it's a little awkward, but you'll do fine. Hope I help *hugs*!!!

It can be hard for any woman to insert a tampon without pain. Virgin or not. The easiest way for me is after a shower, when it is still moist and not so dry like it may normally be. Also, lifting one leg up, maybe onto a toilet, can ease the process.

it is best to be sitting while inserting the tampon...don't worry about it getting lost because there is nowhere for it to go. If it hurts it could be that you are using the wrong size. Try a smaller one.
