It was recently announced that Kane Hodder, best known as Jason Vorhees in most of the Friday the 13th films, has signed on to play Ed Gein in a new film called, "Ed Gein: The Butcher of Plainfield". As much as I like Hodder, he is about twice the size that the real Ed Gein was. Do you think this will adversely alter the way that fans who are familiar with Ed Gein lore will view Hodder's performance?

I doubt most people will even think about it much because I don't think the film makers will try to do a realistic portral in the film. They only proved Ed Gein killed two people, he was mainly a grave robber. That is not really a Kane Hodder type movie.
