The worst part of it all is that his death still won't teach people what they're doing wrong!
Let's look at the facts:
He was a poor bloke who helped his dad build his reserve to care for animals. The son took over the family business and had to do one better than his old man, so he sold himself to the media.
These life-threatening risks sold like hotcake and soon Steve was in the whirlwind of mega-fame and riches.
But that wasn't enough, so he went Hollywood.
He married happily and had two great kids.
A good husband, a great bloke.
He has to choose between work and a holiday with his family- he chose work, his wife and kids were on holiday in Tasmania when he was stung.
Ironic, don't you think?

Is a disk fish, the sting ray possess its sting in its tail which has poisonous gland could affect central nervous system immediately and arrests heart beat. In general it is berried and only the eyes are above the ground, when a pray crosses over it attacks some times it uses the sting for paralyzing the pray. In India, I have been reported there are large number of sting ray attacked incidents but they were not killed but most of them were injured in the legs and they feel burning pain in the injured point and the wound will be cured after four or five months. I don’t know the species which killed Mr.Irvin, based on that we could identify the nature of venom.

I second that emotion.
That poor stingray will have to live with the guilt for the rest of it's life.
Plus, once they lose their barb, the other rays don't want anything to do with them.
Poor, sad creature.

I'm really sorry for Steve, I really liked to watch his TV programs - and I'm sorry for his family too, his youngest child is not even 3, so he'll probably hardly remember his father, which is really sad ....

The sting ray was just doing what it knew how to do.. you step into nature and you get dealt with by the laws of nature.
