My girlfriend is very happy girl and likes joy.She catched a medium-size alive grasshoper in the field.That grasshoper was merely jumping around the field.We observed him.Immediately she told me:"look,what I will do now" and she put the alive grasshoper into her mouth, closed her mouth very slowly and swallowed the grasshoper alive and harmlessly.She put her hand on the buttom of her throat and it was gone . . . the grasshoper slided down her throat.She smiled and opened her mouth, it was empty,then she put her hand on her tummy and told me with a smile that grasshoper is now here.Then she told me not to worry because she would easily digest it but feel very sorry for poor alive grasshoper she will die in a few minutes and should I ask her to vomit him?She told me that if I will ask she will vomit him but I don't know what to do. 3-4 minutes passed after it. She kissed me and told that she will do whatever I wish, so please explain and suggest something quickly please.

Don't worry about it. Her stomach acid killed the grasshopper.

It would be to late anyway, once the poor thing was swallowed the oxygen was cut off and if she vomited it back up it would die anyway. Your GF is in no danger either people eat them all the time though they usually don't eat them still jumping ;) Her body will digest it just like any other protein source. But I would keep her away from the kids ant farm from now on { LOL} Have a good one and enjoy life she sounds like a hoot!

She should vomit it our ask the hopper about its country and call a UNO meeting and slap sanctions againgst that country to which the grasshoper belongs.

No harm in digesting a live grasshopper, I suppose. Dating a woman who swallows live grasshoppers, on the other hand, might cause problems.

I'm sorry, but the grasshopper is already dead- it can't survive the stomach acid, nor can it survive the muscle contractions of her esophagus.

i suggest you let her swallow a smaller insect...a FLY or whatever to keep the GRASSHOPPER alive! until the paramedics arrive.
