This is completely free response. I would just like to know what you all think and how you define reason and emotion. Whether it be decisions, religions affiliations, or favorite things to do, what do you use more?

This is a result of my Theory of Knowledge class.

I try to use reason, but emotion sometimes prevails

I will use reason more, but in return people wil use emotion to rate the reason whether is true or false, trusted or untrusted.

So is a clear cut here. Often the case that, for the same reason a teenager give and an old profesional man give, the latter one will always have the support from the one who use the emotion to rate the reason.

I believe you face the same problem with all the people out there. No one will listen to you if you simply propose E=MC^2. However, once you got your degree in engineering, science or match, people will starts listen to you. :)

Firstly what a lovely thoughtful question.
I use logic more because sometimes i haf to determine why my emitons are wht they are therfor using logic to explain emotion for example if i feel bad i no somethings is wrong and it leads to me finding a logical reason behind it. i also use logic in deciosions more. compareing the good and the bad. lik i reali reali liked my m8s bf but i had to hold my emtions back and not act on it because id loose my friend which in the end meant more to me.

For me reason and emotion are married. I can find reason in anything, but my emotion helps to soften when the reason behind something is hard to deal with.

Both equally. I think it's illogical to think without realizing your emotions are apart of the thinking process because we're humans, not emotionless robots. And I think it's illogical to use mostly emotions without much logic. How can one think logically about, say, another human beings life situation without understanding the logic of emotions that are involved. And how can one only think of the emotions of that personal situation without understanding the logic of their predicament?

Reasoning of course, but sometimes stupid things happen, and that's when emotional sets in.
