I really hate people. All people. Everybody is cheap and wants something for nothing. Everybody is so incredibly quick to point the finger of blame at somebody else. When people come to eat in a restaurant they'll find any excuse they can not to tip! When I was at work tonight, one lady yelled at me (a server) and refused to pay the bill because there was DUST on the rafters!! MY GOD! Then the manager bent over backwards and gave her a HUGE discount, and of course, no tip. WHAT THE H-ELL is wrong with people? Is the entire world becoming "ghetto?"

NO, but I sure limit my time with most of them....
Sorry 'bout the tip.........I know how hard it is to stand on your feet all day and get no respect.
I have made it my motto to tip anyone who does anything for me.
My Mom taught me that from me watching her wait tables as a little girl. Then the tip made may have been great if it was ten cents or 10%.
I know today people do not realize you have to give part of your tips to taxes and your employer takes it from the total of the customers bill...NOT what they gave you.
Also it is best to tip 20% as your wages are really almost nothing.
I knew some girls that paid to work at places the tips were so good. Others were like .30 an hour plus tips.
Then again, some places all monies had to be pooled and divided.

Unfortunately, you really get to see an ugly side to people when you work in a service/customer service job. I know. My husband and I have both waited tables in the past. (Maybe that's why we're good tippers now.) There are people who will "work the system" to get a free meal. My husband saw it happen. What I think is really unfair, is that wait staff have to pay taxes on tips now, regardless of whether they earn them or not. (This sounds like an area ripe for a lawsuit. Any lawyers interested in working on this one?)
So, please don't become bitter. You'd really only hurt yourself. Get out while you still have a sense of humor. Maybe you can start your own business? Then, when you run into such scam artists, you can tell them you're not interested in their business.
Maybe watching movies like Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow, Armageddon, Deep Impact, 28 Days Later, or Outbreak will help?

I am sorry you have had a bad day. Obviously this woman has had a bad life otherwise she would be compassionate and know that your feet hurt. If the dust in the rafters bothered her so much she should have left and not eaten. It is well known in hotels that people do such things for scams to not pay or get a discount which costs everyone who works there and other paying guests. Hate begets more hatred. Let her ills and evils leave with her. Do not let her misery become your problem. I have my days when I feel so bad and tired or worn out or have given so much to get so little back that it is difficult to not hate. Get some rest, soak your feet in a hot tub of water. Eat a good meal. drink some milk and warm camomile tea to soothe your body and soul. May I remember to never be awful to a server again no matter how awful they are to me. She got what she wanted a discount or someone to take her problems out on. Quite possibly she has a mental illness. One such woman I knew who was a clean fanatic finally went to jail for murdering her husband. It took years to prove it but they did because they got her to confess finally so they sent her back to prison. She only confessed because she thought they would let her off for insanity but they just sent her back because she confessed hoping she would be let out. They use to say about her possibly she murdered him because he messed up her pretty white carpets at the house. You may be lucky with such a person to have gotten off with just an off the wall scolding. Oh by the way I told her as she was highly intelligent and a well known computer programmer for an important company that I thought she was too intelligent to be the murderer of her husband. After which she threatened to crack my skull open which I reported to the courts and I stayed away from her after that. Being intelligent has nothing to do with murder I learned after her conviction. He had beaten her severely for years until she finally cracked and murdered him. One never knows what is upon that person who is obviously not in control anymore. When the got her to confess for murdering him because she had lost her mind psychologically because of the way she murdered it and hid it so well that they could not prove it without her confession they locked her up very safely somewhere forever because she was still a hostile angry person after murdering her husband and obviously a threat to other people as I reported to the courts. And she tried to crack my skull open I am pretty sure of that.

Yes, sometimes, but not people in general. It is reserved for specific people who have really earned it. Everyone likes to get stuff for free, but I don't think that they usually expect to. It sounds like you had a bad experience tonight with a very rude woman that doesn't know how to behave appropriately in a public setting. So, she is an idiot, but not all people are like her. I've worked in retail for about 10 years, so I've had my share of unruly customers. They are awful, but they are also the minority. Most people just want to be treated with courtesy and given the help that they need when they want it. I try not to let rude people ruin my day. They don't deserve that kind of power.

I dont hate people but i hear what your saying.
where i live there are shootings all the time now.
stores getting robbed and all kinds of crap like that.
my lil sister works at Jack in the Box and has stories of how some shithead customers act.
i want to move to a ranch or something sometimes.

Sounds like you're subsisting on a diet of disappointment. If you lower your expectations, you may not be as troubled by human nature. Share your life with a companion animal; go to the shelter and adopt a real friend.

If I see a people that you mention like that, of course I hate that situation. I also hate people with no respect either to their parents, country or their religion.
