Hi to use yahoo you have to be online so i dont therefore think its possible to work offline through yahoo email

You can use e mail offline if you have a pop3 or a imap email account. In yahoo I believe pop3 is now charged a fee for a year.

You can only look at your email. you cannot write or compose emails. But IE6,7 removes the sessions so, try opera 8,9 instead.
Otherwise, save the emails in html format from file menus select sa as .mht extension.
