"Of course I would. I support getting everyone in the world micro chipped."- Little known quote from the bible. Attributed to Samael and Lucifer.

(There is some debate as to which one actually said it, but there is some evidence that It may actually of been George Bush Jr.)

Give me liberty or give me death. Sounds like a good motto for Americans...

To bad it's Take my liberty or your with the terrorists now.

It's funny. The people who are with the government in order to fight terrorism are actually aligning themselves with the creators of the terrorists.

Why are you afraid of being watched? Do you have something to hide?

Kidding.

Well, I wouldn't mind tracking implants and whatnot in my pets, relatives, my car, me, and anything else that could possible be transported elsewhere, but I'm a fairly open guy. And besides, with the current technology (as far as I know, anyway....someone correct me if I'm wrong), tracking chips are just that: computer chips that provide location coordinates, and that's it. They've been putting them in cars for a while now, and the only way a car will move is if someone makes it move. A pet, on the other hand, has legs and can run away all on its own. Seems to me that it's only good sense to take every precaution available to protect your loved ones, furry or otherwise.

You're paranoid. How can the government benefit from knowing where people's pets are? It's fine to have you pet have a chip implanted in them, and as others have said, it's only under a layer of the skin. And I don't the government is going to do it just to come to your house one day, break down the door, and ship you to area 51 for testing.

7 Pets 7 Chips My option.

I have done that. If our beloved dog got lost, the computer chip would identify him and we would get him back. I think most new pet owners have that done. It's for the pet's protection and ours and isn't spying on us.

I have one in mine. Most dogs bought from a pet store are givin to you with one in them already. But i think its a goood idea! I mean in my case i love my dog and my fiance spent ALOT on her! Its not like its deep into her body or anything like that. Its like under a layer of her skin...well atleast thats what the pet go round people told me.

Actually, it is quite common practice around here for cats, the chip is so tiny, anyway. If the cat does stray it can easily be scanned/traced and returned to it's owner.

My cats have their vetinary records and ID imbedded in them. It came in handy when one of them was attacked by a dog and rushed to a Vet. The Vet contacted us to let us know what had happened.

I would not do this to my kids. I keep them on a shorter leash...

It's an excellent idea. Many pets are found this way, some of them have wandered hundreds of miles. Talk to your vet about it.
