My friend and I went to visit a friend who happened to be my ex-boyfriend, from a year ago, who I thought was over me. We started to drink and I wasn't sure whether I should drive home or not so we came to the conclusion we should stay at the house where the partying was going on. But things got out of hand, nothing sexual, but I felt uncomfortable being there with him, so we decided to leave. The thing is my boyfriend doesn't know where I was exactly, I didn't want him to get upset because me and my ex are friends, or should I just tell him the truth about everything.

Heck no, don't tell him just to ease your conscience. He isn't going to take this news well, and you know it, that's why you haven't told him yet, and why you are asking this question. You are only dating, that means you don't have to tell him everything..I'll give you this much...you did leave when you were feeling uncomfortable, but you know you were wrong for going over there in the first place. Just between you and I, your current boyfriend isn't that terribly important to you because if he was, you would never have risked your relationship going over to an ex-boyfriends house in the first place. I've cheated on every boyfriend I've ever been with, until I met my husband. I was not willing to risk my relationship with him. I don't think you are with the right guy, otherwise you would not have put yourself in this situation in the first place.

Hey hun. I say don't lie to your boyfriend, but you don't have to tell him absolutely everything either... If he does ask, say you were at a party & your ex happened to be there too. From what I read it doesnt sound like anything did happen, so then theres nothing to tell I guess. Your not lying, & you didnt do anything with him so you havent done anything wrong, unless it's just going to eat you up inside, tell him, but it doesnt seem like you did anything wrong.. on the other hand if you dont tell him, he may be suspicious about why that may be... good luck

As long as nothing sexual happened and you went home that night, I would tell your boyfriend if he asks that you were at a house party with friends and leave it at that. In the future, don't get into those kind of situations.
