John is a child. A liberal is a child. John is a liberal.

True or False.

I can't remember what the rule for these little problems is. Do you know the answer?

STOPASKINGQUESTIONS, you are obviously not to clued in. Did it never even occur to you that this was just a ruse to make another insulting remark about liberals. I can't believe you actually explained this to me.

This would be like Logic .101.

WOW!!! That kind of stupidity is pathetic to see.

Well, if you were really as smart as you say you are--IQ, and classical music and all that--you would notice that all you've said here is that both John and a liberal happen to be children. If you said, "John is a child. All children are liberals," then you could conclude that "John is a liberal."

But that wouldn't even work for your purpose, because I'm guessing that you're trying to conclude that all liberals are children.

So here are a few rules for you: 1. Both premises must be true. 2. The conclusion must follow from the premises. Your proposed syllogism violates number two. Try again with that powerful IQ of yours. Maybe you could do better in German? Good luck to you.

George you seem to be fixated on liberal bashing....When are you going to grow up and realize there are good and decent people in both political persuasions and most of the progress in this country is done via the middle. Politics is like a pendulum my friend. There are childish losers like yourself on both sides who are like little 6 year old bed-wetting punks who have nothing better to do than throw stones and break windows and put tacks on the teachers chairs. Luckily most of you end up as janitors and end up growing old and angry not understanding why you are part of the problem and not the solution.... In fact you end up being the problem...now go back home with your mom and let her get you dressed...she will always love you George...
